Myanmar Survivors Still in Danger

BANKOK, May 5 (Reuters) – Richard Horsey of ther UN disaster response office in Bankok stated, “We know that it’s several hundred thousand needing shelter and clean drinking water, but how many hundred thousand we just don’t know.”

The disaster in Myanmar mounts as the reality of the devastation becomes more obvious. Individual people and families are doubtless in danger from disease, insect infestations, and for basic necessities even if they survived the initial cyclone.
